    Cores: I believe that you are a superhuman. It is up to you to find out what your superpowers are, and how to fully utilise them. Where do you find these superpowers? They are inside of you, in your core, in your gut, in your heart, and in your mind.

    Skies: Once you find out what is in your core, it is time to start drawing the path towards the skies. These are your skies. You set the limits. You set the path towards them.

          Welcome. I am glad you wanted to know more about me. I take a long from your time. My life story is most probably like yours. Went to school; graduated with a degree; worked for a long time in a career that had drained me; loved to help people. After 30 years in a fast-paced business consultancy/training profession, I found out why I was always looking for something else.


    Being coached:

    What did I get from being coached and joining the program? The answer is very simple. I have always wanted to do something more, and coaching helped me do it.     My self and self development

    I always tried to work on my self and self development. I took courses. I read books. I followed inspirational people. It was during one of these self-development courses that I discovered coaching. When I was taking a self development course, I discovered coaching. I immediately felt that this is my true calling. It was so relatable to what I have been doing all my life with no training and no credentials. I have always loved helping people. That is why, I found my calling in becoming a life coach. I have had the good fortune to be training by a brilliant coach. I also joined a life coaching program at an amazing college.

          I offer you the freedom to decide on how you would like the sessions to go. Ideally, they should be face to face. Face-to-face does not only mean in the physical sense. I am available to do sessions on any platform or video conferencing media that you are comfortable with such as WhatsApp, Zoom, Skype or even Instagram.

    One-on-One coaching:

    A series of 60-minutes customized coaching sessions in which I will work with you on a specific goal to achieve. We work together to clear out the path to stay on plan to achieve that goal. We will also uncover what causes you to get overwhelmed and stressed and get clarity on moving forward.

    Youth Support Program:

    A program specialised for teenagers from 13 to 23 years old. It is 24 weeks long. Each week will cover a specific topic. The program is aimed at teenagers who are sad, angry and confused. It will help them understand their own feelings and take control back and become s well integrated into their society.

    Group Coaching Program:

    A 12 weeks program of group coaching. The aim of this program is to teach you techniques on how to become more resilient. Each week will be dedicated to a specific theme like how to grow out of old habits, or what is science behind practice makes perfect. If you want to know more,

  •          Why do you get stuck?

          Throughout our lives, we pass through challenges and periods when we feel like we are lost, and like we don’t know how to move forward.

    You might be a blogger and have a lot to say, but all of a sudden you can’t find anything to say, or how to elaborate on the topics you want to talk about. You might be facing an issue with a friend, a relative, a family member, but you don’t know how to solve the issue, or where is the situation going. You might be a professional who wants to move forward in your career but you can’t find a way to do that.

    You may ask what do all these issues have in common. My answer is simple. It is the source of the challenge. The source of the challenge is always within you. You have the challenge and you have the solution as well. If you think back to a time when you were facing a challenge. You would be existing within a closed circuit. Within this circuit, you would be thinking of so many things. But these things are maintained with the circuit. You keep on thinking about the same things, from the same angels, with the same perspective.

    All you need to do is break the circuit. In electricity, breaking the circuit would stop the flow of power. Breaking the circuit of thinking means to allow new information to be added in, a new perspective to be thought about, and a new path of thought to be taken. The mind is the most powerful organ in your body. All you need is to do is find ways to utilise it to its utmost power.

  •          Fear

          I answered a question about fear lately. That got me thinking. What is fear? Why do we feel fear? What makes us afraid?

    There are a lot of things that people are afraid of. Mostly people are afraid of the unknown, of the unfamiliar, of the different. Our brain functions in a funny way. Fear is just a feeling, like happiness, sadness, contentedness, etc… We would be going on with our lives business as usual. If we face a situation that is unfamiliar to us, or we feel that it is threatening our safety, our brain goes into what a lot of people know as flight or fight mode.

    Both are defence mechanisms that help us maintain our safety. Our amygdala takes over and takes on the job of keeping us safe. Sometimes it takes over our cognitive thinking and we stop making sense of things. How long can we maintain this situation? For how long can we sustain our safety this way?

    It is very important to be careful that the fear doesn’t continue, or it will have a bigger effect on us. The sooner we can start rationalising about the situation, the sooner we can find solutions to pull ourselves out of it. The sooner we can take control back from the amygdala, the faster we can conquer our fear.

    We need to process our thoughts and understand what is making us afraid. Only then, we can start to plan and find a solution. Fear has degrees. And fear can be paralyzing. If we succumb to it, it can take us far away from ourselves. I would prefer to face fear the soonest so that it does not become an obsession. Once it turns into obsession, it takes a strong hold on you, which will make it harder on you to face and conquer.

    This my 2cents of the day. Don’t forget, we are all superhumans. All we need to do is find our capes.
